Sandra Scruggs Owner/ Provider of Building Blocks Family Child Care that offers safe professional home child care quality service for newborns, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. Sixteen years of extensive experience working with children.

Founder of Irene House --- a non profit organization that offers child care assistance for teenage mothers in order to help them succeed in getting an education, job, personal development, etc. I myself grew up as a teen mother, so I can relate. I am now married with four adult children and a grandmother of three.

I made the decision to become a home child care provider because I wanted to provide affordable excellent care for hard working parents and when the opportunity presented itself, I followed my heart. I am also an active member of my community and surrounding areas. I firmly believe in providing children with an environment that promotes creativity, learning and overall character development.
